Bible Ballistics: BBs #629    God Is Still Working!!!

 

“For God is my King of old,

working salvation

in the midst of the earth.”  Psalm 74:12

I want to encourage you today and remind us all that God is trustworthy and HE is ever at work on our behalf!  While it may not always look the way we want it to look, and things may not always be what we expected them to be—God still reigns.  He is ever at work in us to accomplish HIS purpose!  And He’ll show you His ways if you will but look up and hear His voice every day as He directs your steps!

“Wherefore, my beloved,

as ye have always obeyed,

not as in my presence only,

but now much more

in my absence,

work out your own salvation

with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God which worketh in you

both to will

and to do

of his good pleasure.

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

15 That ye may be blameless

and harmless,

the sons of God,

without rebuke,

in the midst of a crooked

and perverse nation,

among whom ye shine

as lights in the world;”                  Philippians 2:12-15

And one of my very favorite reminders of God’s faithfulness, and our call to follow HIM:

“Trust in the LORD

with all thine heart;

and lean not

unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways

acknowledge him,

and he shall direct

thy paths.

7 Be not wise

in thine own eyes:

fear the LORD,

and depart from evil.

8 It shall be health to thy navel,

and marrow to thy bones.” Proverbs 3:5-8

I pray that God will help you remember that HE has you in HIS heart—HE loves YOU and will “never leave thee nor forsake thee” if you belong to HIM!  It is God’s working that keeps me going and not my own efforts—YOU can trust Him and rest in HIS work also!

“Now there are diversities of gifts,

but the same Spirit.

5 And there are differences of administrations,

but the same Lord.

6 And there are diversities of operations,

but it is the same God

which worketh all in all.

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit

is given to every man

to profit withal.”   1 Corinthians 12:4-7

God’s got a plan; won’t you join Him?  Today is a good day!
