We’re always free to choose but the consequences that come are NOT our choice. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap..” Galatians 6:7. Consequences will always be more than you sowed, later than you sowed and more costly than you ever expected when you sowed. You can choose God’s way or your own way. I am deeply disturbed that in the “land of the free”, we are unable to express our beliefs, religious or otherwise, without ridicule unless they agree with the popular “thinking” of our day. But as much as that disturbs me, I am disturbed even more that this issue of “sexuality” has brought a form of hypocrisy that grieves my heart. I am saddened that many will ‘like’, ‘share’, ‘post’, ‘comment’ and spread the word of this man who is under attack by A&E, BUT will not order their own lives as HE HAS and live what they say they believe. As I understand it he is a godly man who lives and practices his belief in ‘Biblical Christianity’. This man doesn’t claim to be perfect, only redeemed and living for Jesus. Some of us ‘claim’ that same name of Jesus and are NOT living like the redeemed. Some are shacked up, drinking up, drugging up, lying up, stealing up, cussing up …etc., etc. How can you identify with this man? John 14:15 says, “ If ye love me, keep my commandments.” Whose commands are you following? The Bible’s or man’s? Is your behavior worldly or Biblical? Can you speak the truth as this man has and have a life that backs it up? 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 sums it up, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” Jesus is coming soon—will you be found a ‘faithful servant’ or will you hear Jesus say, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (see Matt. 7:14-29).
