Bible Ballistics: BBs #548   He Is All I Need!!!

 

I’m kind of late today but wanted to share a brief passage to remind us, that Jesus IS enough.

 

“Lie not one to another,

seeing that ye have put off the old man

with his deeds;

10 And have put on the new man,

which is renewed in knowledge

after the image of him

that created him:

11 Where there is neither Greek

nor Jew,

circumcision

nor uncircumcision,

Barbarian,

Scythian,

bond

nor free:

but Christ is all,

and in all.

12 Put on therefore,

as the elect of God,

holy and beloved,

bowels of mercies,

kindness,

humbleness of mind,

meekness,

longsuffering;

13 Forbearing one another,

and forgiving

one another,

if any man have a quarrel against any:

even as Christ

forgave you,

so also do ye.

14 And above all these things

put on charity,

which is the bond of perfectness.”    Colossians 3:9-14

And because God is always faithful, we can walk in love and forgiveness—because He imparts His Spirit to us.  As I used to have my children quote when they quarreled or had problems with one another.

“And be ye kind

one to another,

tenderhearted,

forgiving one another,

even as God

for Christ’s sake

hath forgiven you.”   Ephesians 4:32

By His power we can be all that God has saved us to be—and always remember that the “doing” always comes out of the “being”!  Never vice-versa!  God equips the called!  He calls, He saves, and He enables.  That’s why we can join Paul and clearly proclaim in confident assurance:

“I can do all things

through Christ

which strengtheneth me.”   Philippians 4:13

All because our God reigns—today, tomorrow, and forever!

“….. my God shall supply

all your need

according to his riches

in glory

by Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:19

Look up to the all sufficient Lord!!!   Amen and Amen!!!
