Deuteronomy 33:7, Everlasting Arms of God, HE Cares For YOU!!!, Hear His Word, HIS Arms Will Hold You, Psalm 111:7-10, Psalm 121:1-8
Bible Ballistics: BBs #570 With Those Strong Hands???
Since we talked last time about our ability to make wrong choices, I thought I’d share a brief look this morning at the “hands” that are never wrong and are our strength and confidence!
“The works of his hands
are verity
and judgment;
all his commandments
are sure.
8 They stand fast
for ever and ever,
and are done
in truth
and uprightness.
9 He sent redemption
unto his people:
he hath commanded
his covenant for ever:
holy and reverend
is his name.
10 The fear of the LORD
is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding
have all they that do his commandments:
his praise
endureth for ever.” Psalm 111:7-10
When we learn to keep our eyes on Jesus, and trust to His care, and through His Word grow in grace, truth and holiness, HE will make Himself known to us more and more intimately. His hand will guide our steps and our choices—if we will but read His Word, hear its message, and heed His voice speaking to our hearts (See Revelation 1:3)!
“The eternal God
is thy refuge,
and underneath
are the everlasting arms:
and he shall thrust out
the enemy from before thee;
and shall say, Destroy them.” Deuteronomy 33:7
Our God’s hands hold us, and His arms are ever strong on our behalf. I will close with one of my favorite Psalms, praying that it will encourage you in whatever situation you find yourself in; no matter what choices loom on your horizon, HE is there to guide your steps and care for you. Always!
“I will lift up mine eyes
unto the hills,
from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the LORD,
which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer
thy foot to be moved:
he that keepeth thee
will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel
shall neither slumber
nor sleep.
5 The LORD is thy keeper:
the LORD is thy shade
upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee
by day,
nor the moon
by night.
7 The LORD shall preserve thee
from all evil:
he shall preserve
thy soul.
8 The LORD shall preserve
thy going out
and thy coming in
from this time forth,
and even for evermore.” Psalm 121:1-8
Blessings on your day! Amen and Amen!!!
