Bible Ballistics: BBs #628    A Trustworthy, Faithful God!!!

Just a brief word of encouragement this morning; no matter the trial, crises, or tragedy—God IS ever faithful.  And when you learn to trust Him in the everyday things, you will find your confidence adequate in the “biggies”!

Thy mercy,

is in the heavens;

and thy faithfulness

reacheth unto the clouds.”  Psalm 36:5

God is faithful to accomplish HIS work in this world, in our lives and HE will be with you, for HE has promised to be with His own to conform us into the image of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Being confident of this very thing,

that he which hath begun a good work

in you

will perform it

until the day of Jesus Christ:”  Philippians 1:6

I pray that whatever you are facing today, that you will set your eyes on Jesus, and not the issue!  Remember Daniel—his eyes were on his faithful God not the lions.  Peter even reminds us of this analogy—may it encourage you today!

Be sober,

be vigilant;

because your adversary

the devil,

as a roaring lion,

walketh about,

seeking whom he may devour:

9 Whom resist stedfast

in the faith,

knowing that the same afflictions

are accomplished in your brethren

that are in the world.

10 But the God of all grace,

who hath called us unto his eternal glory

by Christ Jesus,

after that ye have suffered a while,

make you perfect,

 settle you.

11 To him be glory

and dominion

for ever and ever. Amen.”  1 Peter 5:8-11

And in closing one of my favorite passages from the prophet Jeremiah, who wrote these words after he saw the fall of Jerusalem—knowing that God remained faithful in the rubble of broken dreams!

This I recall to my mind,

therefore have I hope.

22 It is of the LORD’S mercies

that we are not consumed,

because his compassions fail not.

23 They are new every morning:

great is thy faithfulness.

24 The LORD is my portion,

saith my soul;

therefore will I hope in him.

25 The LORD is good unto them

that wait for him,

to the soul that seeketh him.

26 It is good that a man should both

and quietly wait

for the salvation of the LORD.”   Lamentations 3:21-26.

Amen and Amen!
