God IS ABLE!!!        A Word from THE WORD!!! #63

Just a brief word of encouragement on this Friday morning.  I pray that we will all be reminded that our GOD IS ABLE!!!   He never fails, and HE has promised to never leave or fail us!  (And just FYI, “conversation” refers to our walk, or our lifestyle, if you would)

Let your conversation be without covetousness;

and be content with such things as ye have:

for he hath said,

I will never leave thee,

nor forsake thee.

6 So that we may boldly say,

The Lord is my helper,

and I will not fear

what man shall do unto me.”  Hebrews 13:5-6

God has you and me, and when we come to HIM in repentance and faith in JESUS’ substitutionary, atoning sacrifice for our salvation, we will have relationship beyond measure with the Almighty Sovereign God of the universe and HIS Son Jesus’!  I can’t describe to you the joy, hope, comfort, peace, and love that He has imparted to me, and HE will do the same for you, if you will but run to HIM!

For we have not an high priest

 which cannot be touched

with the feeling of our infirmities;

but was in all points tempted

like as we are,

yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly

unto the throne of grace,

that we may obtain mercy,

and find grace to help

in time of need.”  Hebrews 4:15-16

Jesus loves us so much that HE died for our forgiveness and was raised victorious on the third day.  He is able!

Wherefore he is able also

to save them to the uttermost

that come unto God by him,

seeing he ever liveth

to make intercession for them.”  Hebrews 7:25

You have a praying Savior who is ever praying for YOU!  So, God’s work should ever be visible in our walk as well as our talk (how sad that so many of us use speech right out of the gutter)!

And God is able

to make all grace abound toward you;

that ye,

always having all sufficiency

in all things,

may abound

to every good work:”2 Corinthians 9:8

So, may we walk with Jesus today by relying upon the direction and provision of HIS Holy Spirit.  We can overcome by HIS grace!  Press on today, my friends–remember, we win in JESUS!

But thanks be to God,

which giveth us the victory

through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren,

be ye stedfast,

always abounding

in the work of the Lord,

forasmuch as ye know

that your labour

is not in vain

in the Lord.”  1 Corinthians 15:57-58
